Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Ivory Clair, and I am an aspiring author. Writers I admire include Maya Angelou, Ann Patchett, Craig Butler, David Levithan, Helen Hoang, and Neil Gaiman. My favorite movies are La La Land and Amélie, and I adore Harry Potter. (For those wondering, I am a Pottermore-certified Hufflepuff.) I am a big fan of anime and manga and particularly admire manga writers such as Kohei Horikosh, Naoko Takeuchi, and Natsuki Takaya.
I have wanted to be a writer since I was in the fourth grade, when my class was given a creative writing assignment. We were supposed to write a five-to-ten page story; I wrote over fifty pages because I enjoyed it so much. Unreliable is the first book I hope to get published. I also write poetry and short stories and have won Gold Keys and Silver Keys in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards (2014-16).
