Happy Earth Day, everyone! Today's post will focus on how we as writers can help the environment.

When querying, if given the choice to submit electronically or through the mail, submit your materials over email to reduce paper waste and energy consumption! Submit to literary journals and magazines that are either online or print with recycled paper! When editing, print double-sided to cut paper waste in half! Print with environmentally-friendly ink, like barefoot press One of the best things we as writers can do to help the planet though? Incorporate environmental themes into our stories.
